EA Being Sued Over Battlefield 1943 PS3 Deal

It looks like EA is being sued for not living up to their offer of a free copy of Battlefield 1943 with Battlefield 3 pre-orders:

I'm not a PS3 user, but I'm glad to see this. Those greasy cash chuckers at EA have been getting away with far too much these days, and I'm relieved that someone out there finally has the balls to do something about it.

I'm glad to see this, even though I play exclusively on PC.

I am not a fan of the PS3, i play xbox, but thats effed up. They promised them somthing and didnt follow through!? greedy bastards need to own up to their claims.

I went ahead and preorderd just because i thought i would also be getting the 1943,, instead of wating to get it off of the shelfs at the stores.

I thought EA won.

No, the case never amounted to anything. After hearing of the lawsuit, EA quickly agreed to make vouchers available for the free copies of Battlefield 1943.

Oof. They should've just let the case go through. It would've taken five years to clear up anyways.
