Battlefield 3 Beta Release Date

I had to register just to say you're nuts if you think the Beta is going to release on September 11. They said it would release 9/11, which is...September, 2011. Why would anyone release the beta for a military shooter where you can destroy buildings on September 11?

I'm not sure but the site does not lie.

It says 48 hours early access beta * (09.2011)

Because Mr. Smart pants you do not refer the coming month with the year along if you are in the same year...like i wont say on see you guys in november 25th 2011 as if am going in hibernation and eg - you say coming December ( in Europe ) or Winter ( in USA ) for movies, games etc to release...since it was released in USA they usually say the month first followed by the date...get educated....NOW

DICE/EA error'd with the information they gave out. A lot of sites misreported the date, I think that is becoming increasingly clear now.

The only sites I can find that reference this as being true state E3 as there source but if you go watch the E3 footage all you will see is a dated stating September 2011 not September 11th

The official footage yes, I got the date from Gametrailers footage. They had interviews and commentary going on. I'm 99% sure one of the commentators accidentally announced it as 9/11/11. I really don't have the time to go through the feeds but something was reported that day and a few sites made the mistake including 1-Up. It's retracted now anyway so appologies

Battlefield 3 beta starts on Sept 25 for people who preodred MOH or got the Origin, and it goes out to the public on Sept 27.

Except most European countries use the DD/MM/YY format, which makes 9/11 September 2011. Or November 9th, if you're stupid.

Get educated.
